Framzio started with a simple problem: I wanted to buy posters for my apartment but could not find a good way to see how they would actually look on the wall. Not the size, not the feeling, not how they'd fit the room. I searched, scrolled and guessed — and bought the wrong thing.
My name is Gustav. I'm based in Sweden and I'm technical by nature. So I decided to build the solution myself.
The Idea Behind Framzio
What I was missing as a customer was a way to actually see what I was buying — not on a white product image, but in a real room. How does a 50×70 cm poster look above a sofa? How does a frame change the impression? These are questions that are almost impossible to answer without a visual tool.
That is exactly what Framzio is built around. On every product page there is a live configurator where you can see how the poster looks at the correct size above a sofa, with or without a frame — before you order. It is the feature I was missing as a customer, and it is the feature that sets us apart from most other poster stores.
I started Framzio in 2026 — out of curiosity, to solve a problem, and because it was fun. Now I am continuously optimising it.
The Art in the Store
Some of the prints we sell are created using AI. We are transparent about that. But it is not the end goal — it is the starting point. Our ambition is to progressively build collaborations with real artists and use Framzio as a platform to showcase their work. Art made by people, for people.
Regardless of a motif's origin, every poster is produced to the exact same quality standard: museum-grade giclée printing on archival fine art paper at 230 g/m² — the same specification used by professional art galleries worldwide.
Sweden, Made to Order
Framzio is a Swedish company operating from Sweden. Every poster is printed when you order it — never in advance, never held in stock. That means no overproduction, no waste, and always a fresh print.
Want to frame your poster? Our frames are handmade in Italy with premium plexiglass and built to last just as long as the print itself.
